Public Call-to-Action (CTA) reference page
This is the canonical, publicly-accessible reference for the AloneAssist SMS opt-in flow. It contains a 1:1 visual reproduction of the live opt-in form, the verbatim consent disclosure, sample messages, message frequency, opt-out instructions, and program policies. The same opt-in form is rendered live (interactive) inside our account-creation flow at /signup.
Operated by Datasamy, Inc, 2261 Market Street, #10168, San Francisco, CA 94114. Contact: support@aloneassist.com.
AloneAssist operates a transactional SMS program that supports its daily wellness check-in service for older adults. This page describes how consent is collected, what messages we send, and how to opt out.
Opt-in form preview
Below is a visual preview of the mobile phone opt-in form that account owners complete during onboarding at aloneassist.com/signup. The disclosure text appears directly beneath the “Text me a code” button, as shown.
Let's verify your number
We'll send you a code so only you can see your parent's check-ins.
Message frequency varies. Msg & data rates may apply. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Reply HELP for help, STOP to cancel. See our Privacy Policy and SMS Terms.
Note:The “Text me a code” button is disabled until the consent checkbox above is selected. The “Call me instead” button does not require the checkbox — users can verify their phone via a voice call without opting into SMS.
This preview is a non-interactive rendering of the live opt-in form. The live form is shown to account owners after they begin signup at /signup.
Care Circle opt-in preview
When an account owner adds a Care Circle contact (additional family member, neighbor, or friend who should be notified when a check-in is missed), that contact receives the single SMS below as an opt-in request. Contacts must reply YES before any further messages are sent. They can reply STOP at any time.
SMS from AloneAssist
AloneAssist: Jane added you as a Care Circle contact for her mom’s daily check-in. Reply YES to confirm, STOPto opt out. Msg&data rates may apply. https://aloneassist.com/sms
No further messages are sent to the contact until they reply YES. Replying STOP at any point unsubscribes them permanently.
Program name

How consent is collected
AloneAssist is a subscription service. Account owners (typically adult children of the person receiving calls) create an account at aloneassist.com/signup (email + password only — no phone number is collected at this step). After confirming their email, the user reaches the phone verification step at aloneassist.com/onboarding/verify, where they enter their mobile phone number and complete an explicit SMS opt-in. The opt-in form contains:
- A phone-number input.
- An unchecked consent checkbox with the label: “I agree to receive recurring SMS messages from AloneAssist at this phone number, including verification codes, missed check-in alerts, and wellness summaries.” The checkbox is not pre-selected. The “Text me a code” button remains disabled until the user checks this box.
- Two action buttons: “Text me a code” (requires the consent checkbox) and “Call me instead” (does not require the checkbox — users may verify their phone via a voice call without opting into SMS).
- A disclosure block displayed directly beneath the buttons, containing message frequency, data-rate notice, opt-out instructions (Reply STOP to cancel), Reply HELP for help, and links to the Privacy Policy and SMS Terms.
Verbatim disclosure shown beneath the buttons:
Message frequency varies. Msg & data rates may apply. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Reply HELP for help, STOP to cancel. See our Privacy Policy and SMS Terms.
Secondary Care Circle contacts (additional family, neighbors, or friends) are added by the account owner. Before any alert messages are sent to a Care Circle contact, that contact receives a one-time opt-in confirmation SMS and must reply YES to confirm. No further messages are sent until the contact confirms. Contacts can reply STOP at any time to unsubscribe.
What we send
- One-time verification codes during account signup.
- Care Circle opt-in confirmation requests.
- Notifications when a scheduled daily phone check-in is missed or when a concern is detected during a call.
We do not send marketing or promotional SMS through this program.
Message frequency
Message frequency varies based on account activity. Typically fewer than one message per day per recipient. Account owners receive one verification code at signup. Care Circle contacts receive one opt-in confirmation request per household they are added to, plus alerts only when a check-in is missed or a concern is detected.
