AloneAssist provides AI-powered daily wellness check-in phone calls for older adults living alone. Every morning, your parent gets a warm, conversational call. Every morning, you get a short summary so you know they’re okay — without having to call yourself.

What we do

Loneliness, undiagnosed health changes, and missed daily check-ins are among the biggest day-to-day risks for older adults who live alone. AloneAssist is a simple, dignified service that solves a single problem: knowing your parent is okay today.

• A friendly AI voice calls your parent at the time you choose. The conversation lasts 1–3 minutes and is never rushed.
• A short, plain-language summary is sent to you (and any Care Circle contacts you designate) after each call.
• If a call is missed or a concern is detected, your Care Circle is notified immediately by SMS and email.
• A web dashboard shows daily status, mood trends over time, and conversation highlights.

Your parent doesn’t need a smartphone, an app, or any technical skill. The call works on any phone — landline, flip phone, or smartphone.

Why we built this

Adult children of aging parents are stuck between two bad options: worry every day about whether their mom or dad is okay, or push intrusive monitoring devices and cameras that strip dignity in exchange for peace of mind.

We built AloneAssist because a daily phone conversation — not a camera, not a wearable, not a panic button — is the most respectful way to check in. It feels like a friend calling. It works for the person receiving the call, and it works for the family who needs to know.

Our principles

• Dignity first. Older adults are people, not patients. Our language, our voice, and our product never treat them otherwise.
• Not a medical alert system. We are a daily wellness check-in. We complement medical alerts and emergency services — we do not replace them. Always call 911 in an emergency.
• No surveillance. No cameras, no microphones in the home, no GPS, no continuous monitoring. Just a phone call, once a day.
• Privacy by default. We never sell data. Phone numbers are used only to operate the service, never shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
• Easy to leave. One-click cancellation from the dashboard. No retention calls, no forms, no friction.

Who we are

AloneAssist is a service of Datasamy LLC, a Delaware limited liability company with a mailing address in San Francisco. Datasamy is an independent, founder-owned business that operates a small portfolio of consumer software products.

AloneAssist is built and operated by the Datasamy team, with the help of trusted infrastructure partners: Twilio (telephony and SMS), Retell AI (voice AI), Stripe (billing), and Supabase (data and authentication).

We are bootstrapped — there are no investors and no advertisers influencing our product decisions. Our incentives are aligned with yours: we are paid only when families subscribe and continue to find the service valuable.

AloneAssist is a paid subscription service: $14.99 per month or $120 per year after a 14-day free trial. No credit card is required to start the trial. There are no setup fees, no hardware to buy, and no contracts.
