About AloneAssist
AloneAssist is a shared family dashboard and care circle for adult children caring for an aging parent. One place where you, your siblings, and the people who help with Mom or Dad can see the same thing — powered by a daily AI wellness call your parent actually looks forward to.
What we do
Most caring-for-an-aging-parent tools are built for one person. In real life, caring for a parent is a team sport — siblings, neighbors, a part-time caregiver. AloneAssist gives that whole team one shared place, so no one is the lone worrier.
- A shared family dashboard with real-time status, daily summaries, mood trends, and shared notes — visible to everyone in your care circle.
- A care circle of siblings, neighbors, or paid caregivers. Each person sees what you choose to share with them.
- Shared notifications and escalation rules — if a call is missed or a concern is detected, the right person hears about it, in the right order.
- A friendly AI voice calls your parent at the time you choose. The conversation lasts 1–3 minutes and is never rushed.
Your parent doesn’t need a smartphone, an app, or any technical skill. The call works on any phone — landline, flip phone, or smartphone.
Why we built this
Adult children of aging parents are stuck between two bad options: worry every day about whether their mom or dad is okay, or push intrusive monitoring devices and cameras that strip dignity in exchange for peace of mind.
We built AloneAssist because a daily phone conversation — not a camera, not a wearable, not a panic button — is the most respectful way to check in. It feels like a friend calling. It works for the person receiving the call, and it works for the family who needs to know.
Our principles
- Dignity first. Older adults are people, not patients. Our language, our voice, and our product never treat them otherwise.
- Not a medical alert system. We are a daily wellness check-in. We complement medical alerts and emergency services — we do not replace them. Always call 911 in an emergency.
- No surveillance. No cameras, no microphones in the home, no GPS, no continuous monitoring. Just a phone call, once a day.
- Privacy by default. We never sell data. Phone numbers are used only to operate the service, never shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
- Easy to leave. One-click cancellation from the dashboard. No retention calls, no forms, no friction.
